Loran Lafayette Hansen, 71, passed away in Billings at St. Vincents Hospital after an extended illness. He was born August 14, 1909 in Lovell, Wyoming, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen. He was a retired water superintendent for the Town of Lovell and was a member of the American Water Works Association. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He was married to Claudia Irene Mangus on July 21, 1967 in Lovell, Wyoming.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Ronald L Hansen of Bellevue, Washington; three daughters, Mrs. Jeanne Beccari of Bonner, Montana, Mrs. Allene Morris of Billings, Montana, and Mrs. Carol Flinn of Casper, Wyoming; one brother, Jay of Lovell; one sister, Mrs. Ila Nielson of Cody, Wyoming; and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 2 at the L.D.S. Stake House Chapel with the interment in the Lovell Cemetery.
