Mrs. Walter Barker died at the Ontario hospital Saturday of complications following an operation She is survived by her husband and four young children. Interment was made at Wilder.

LORETA MAY BARKER PASSES AWAY AT ONTARIO
Mrs. Loreta May Barker passed away at the Ontario hospital, Saturday, July 27, after undergoing an operation for appendicitis. Her home was in New Meadows and besides numerous friends, she leaves to mourn her death, her husband, Walter Barker and four children and her aunt Mrs. Al Garlick, and her mother who lives in Aberdeen, S.D. and three brothers. She was ill for about two weeks.
The funeral was held from the Wilder M.E. church, Monday, July 29, at 2:30 and was conducted by Rev. Davidson, pastor of the church. A large number of friends followed the remains to the Wilder cemetery where she was laid to rest. The large number of beautiful flowers was a token of the esteem in which she was held by those who knew her.
