He was a retired maintenance mechanic who worked at Suburban Country Club in Reisterstown for more than 20 years. He is survived by his son, Bernard A. Barnhouser, Jr. sister Agnes Catherine Poleski and brothers Martin Thomas & Joseph Barnhouser Jr. He also leaves behind half-brother John E. Walker Jr., half-sister Marilyn (Lawson) Deavers, four grandchildren & one great granddaughter. His wife, the former Lula Grace "Dorothy" States, son David Barnhouser & two brothers preceded him in death. A Mass of Christian Burial was held September 26 at Holy Rosary Church. I had to track down the grandson whom the family had lost contact with.
