Donald Hessin Denman was born June 29, 1914, in Hanover, Ohio. D.H. "walked his last paper route" the morning of June 10, 2003, in Fort Collins, Colo., dying from complications from dementia and diabetes.
The middle child born to Edna Fern (Hessin) Denman and Charles Edwin Denman, he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Don is survived by daughter, Cathryn Elaine Denman and husband Mike Masterson of Green River; son, John Earl Denman of Davis, Calif.; and nine nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Eleanor (September 10, 1989); a daughter, Pam (stillbirth); a granddaughter, Melissa Jane Miller (stillbirth); a brother, Charles of Fort Myers, Fla.; and sister, Nan Russell of Somerset, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a person's local hospice, Arthritis Foundation or to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
Services were held at Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell, Saturday, June 14, at 10 a.m., followed by burial services at the Lovell Cemetery.
