Loving wife of Jeff Miller, daughter of Delbert Thielen and Jeanie Deiter
Tanya was born in Denver Colorado on December 29, 1964. When she was 2 ½ years old her family moved to California. She missed her grandparents and uncles and aunts. But for all the years she lived in California, she had some wonderful friends. Being an only child, she was very outgoing and made friends very easily. We lived in Castro Valley and San Lorenzo, which is across the bay from San Francisco. This is where she went to Buchannan Jr. High. She played on the girl's softball team, was in the girl scouts, and was one of the cheerleaders. When she was fourteen years old we moved back to Denver, where she went to Green Mountain High School, and made lifelong friends from school. Through her working career, she tried a few different things; she worked at the malls with her friends. She tried her hand at modeling, and spent a few years at Safeway Stores, and a lot of years as the administrative assistant to the manager of Foley's at Cherry Creek Shopping Center, until her and her husband started their own business. The love of her life came into her life in 1988. And her and Jeff were married a couple of years later. They were the perfect match. Not everyone can live together and work together, but they did it with ease. We all miss her very much, and wish her life had not been cut so short, we only had forty three years with her, and every one of them was wonderful. She was always smiling and happy, never had anything bad to say about any one. She loved life and everyone around her. When she was born on the 29th of the month, that number was a magic number for her. Her great grandparents, grandparents, and parents and she and Jeff were all married on the 29th of the month. Both of her uncles were born on the 29th of the month. And when she died, she seemed to have chosen the 29th of January. Other people in the family have a connection to the 29th as well. When the 29th of each month rolls around, we can feel her presence around us. Although as her mother, I feel her around me all the time. She had said we would always be in contact with each other, no matter what the circumstances. She was my only child and best friend, and I miss her.
