Therza Stinnett, 91, a resident of the Holiday Resort died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at the Holiday Resort.
Mrs. Stinnett was a statistical analyst for Beech Aircraft before she retired in 1971. She moved to Augusta in 1925 from Oklahoma. She also lived in Wichita.
The daughter of Amzi C. and Anna Pearl Newland Riley, she was born July 15, 1913, in Hardy, Okla. She married Clinton H. Stinnett on June 16, 1936, at Augusta. He died Dec. 4, 1994.
Mrs. Stinnett was a member of the First Christian Church in Augusta.
She is survived by a son, five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Sharon, died earlier, as did three brothers, Walton Riley, Orville Riley and her twin, Therman Riley; and one sister, Letha R. Walworth.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dunsford Funeral Home in Augusta. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Augusta. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home before the service.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the First Christian Church, 1600 State St., Augusta KS 67010.
