Former Emporian Troy Alan Bishop of Wichita died June 14, 2006. He was 32 and had cancer.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia. The Rev. Mary Faben, chaplain of Hospice of Kansas, will conduct the service. Mr. Bishop was cremated.
The son of Gary and Cheryl Ford Bishop, he was born Oct. 27, 1973, at Emporia. He attended Emporia and Hartford schools.
Mr. Bishop is survived by his wife, Brandee Bishop, and three daughters, Taylor, Hana and Maggie Bishop, all of Wichita; his parents of Wichita; and a sister, Cindy Breeden of Manhattan. Survivors in Emporia include his aunts Connie Lewis and Kathy Wells.
