Dale Lewis Mitchell, 28, University City, formerly of Springfield, died early Thursday in Missouri Baptist Hospital, St. Louis after a long illness.
Mr. Mitchell was a longtime employee and merchandise manager for K-Mart and was presently employed at Bridgeton, MO. He was a member of Webster Park Baptist Church, Springfield. He was a graduate of Glendale High School.
Survivors include his parents, Carl and Arletta Mitchell, a brother, Don, and a sister, Jean Tutor.
Burial in Bellview Cemetery, north of Springfield.
