She died Sunday morning, July 29, 1956, at the home of a sister, Mrs. L. D. Rainey, in the Motlow Creek Community, of Spartanburg County, SC. She was a member of the Green Creek Baptist Church and was a retired textile worker. She had resided with a sister, Mrs. Annie Prince for a number of years. Survivors included: seven sisters, Mrs. Mary Leonard, Mrs. L. D. Rainey, Mrs. Carrie Thomas, Mrs. Annie Prince, Mrs. Ruth Seay, Mrs. WIlma Holder, and Mrs. Sybil Taylor, two brothers, William and Cecil Thomas. She was 73 years of age at her demise. Interment was in the Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
