Mr. Chrisman was born at Steubenville. He married Miss Leva Ramsey, and moved to the farm at Murl where he has since resided. Mrs. Chrisman died a few years ago.
Mr. Chrisman was one of the best farmers and wealthiest men of the county and had long been one of the county's leading citizens.
The funeral services were conducted by his pastor, Rev. C. R. Barrow, sunday afternoon.
