Rev. Dr. Addis Albro was the son of William Bliss and Ann Elizabeth (Wood) Albro. Mary Alice (Scribner) was his 1st wife. They were married February 19, 1878. Mary died August 12, 1905. Jane Harrison Albro was his 2nd wife. They were married November 7, 1907. Jane died August 15, 1967. Rev. Albro was a minister in the Methodist Episcopal Church: North Indiana Conference 1879 New England Southern Conference by transfer 1884 Newark Conference by transfer 1884 Missouri Conference by transfer 1885 Central Illinois Conference by transfer 1886 Northern New York Conference by transfer 1890 New York East Conference by transfer 1893 Michigan Conference by transfer 1897 Genesee (Western New York/now Upper New York) Conference by transfer 1905 Detroit Conference by transfer 1905.

ALBRO.--The news of the sudden death of Dr. Addis Albro, which occurred Sunday morning at his home in Columbus, New Mexico, has been received by his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Harrison, Grass Creek. Dr. Albro suffered spinal and nervous trouble since his injury in a railroad wreck in Michigan seven years ago, and while able to travel he was subject to poor health. Only five weeks ago he and his wife were visiting her parents and while there he delivered a sermon at the Grass Creek Methodist Episcopal Church, where he was well received. The news of his sudden death was a severe shock to those who knew him. Burial was made at El Paso, Texas.
