Mrs. Nix, a native of Winn Parish, is survived by her husband, Joe; three sons, C. E. Bailey of Monroe, Rayford Bailey [sic Nix] of Natchitoches, and B. E. Bailey of Houston; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Edwards and Mrs. Charles LaVearre, both of Houston, Tex.; four brothers, Albert Guin of Alexandria, Beaufort [sic Buford] Guin of Georgetown, Joe Guin of Kelley, and Ed Guin of Winnfield; and three sisters, Mrs. John Starts of Olla, Mrs. Nancy Kyle of Magnolia, Ark., and Mrs. Cherry Box of Leesville.
