Mary Jane Ackerman, 72, of LaGrange, a retired real estate agent, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at Vencor Hospital.
The Noble County native had worked for Howe-LaGrange Agency and was a member of Northeast Indiana Board of Realtors and Indiana Realtors Association.
Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Sr.; a daughter, Sherian K. Barfell of Sturgis, Mich.; a son, Robert L. Jr. of Elkhart; sisters Annalee Hantz of Angola and Bette L. Smith of Sarasota, Fla.; a brother, Jerry Pratt of Marshfield, Mo.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Frurip-May Funeral Home, LaGrange, with calling from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
