Lewis Del Ipsen, 73, of Grants Pass, died Wednesday (Nov. 28, 2001) at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass.
Private interment will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 1, 1928, in Malad City, Idaho.
On May 2, 1953, in Ukiah, Calif., he married Barbara Whiteley, who survives.
Mr. Ipsen was a foreman for PML Forest Products in Grants Pass until his retirement in 1994.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War.
Mr. Ipsen was a member and past exalted ruler of the Grants Pass Elks Lodge.
He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Robert, Medford; a daughter, Lavonne Darlene Green, Grants Pass; a sister, Helen Loomis, Malad City; and one grandson.
