Death Takes Mrs. Sackett
One of Prominent Women of Addison Succumbs at Sister's Home in Ithaca
Addison – Dec. 3 – The death of Mrs. Charles Sackett of Tuscarora street came as a shock to the residents of the village yesterday morning. Word was received here by her daughters, summoning them to her bedside at Ithaca but the end came before they arrived. Mrs. Sackett had suffered many heart attacks previous to her death. She went to Ithaca last week to spend Thanksgiving with her sister, Mrs. Carrie Cowles, at whose home her death occurred.

After her marriage to Charles Sackett of Addison they lived here over 50 years, where Mr. Sackett was a partner in the Sackett & Taber drug store for many years. Mrs. Sackett was one of Addison's most highly respected residents, and had many fine characteristics. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, being very active in church affairs up to the time of her death.
Besides her sister, Miss Carrie Cowles of Ithaca, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Morris Miller and Miss Mae Sackett of Addison, and one granddaughter Miss Louise Sackett of Addison.
