Marion Lee Scott moved with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. I.V. Scott, at an early age to De Queen, Arkansas. The family moved to the Carnegie community in 1908 and settled on a farm northeast of town, where he was reared. He had lived in Carnegie since 1953. His wife, Inez died in 1963. and a son, Rev. Earl Scott died in 1969. He was the father of Earl; Norval Lee of El Monte, CA; Sturlin G. of Tujunga, CA; Thelma Fern Scott of Pasadena, CA; Dorothy Adams of Eakly and Darlene McRae of Carnegie.
