Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport.
ERWIN, Tenn. - Mrs. Alma Lucretia Blackwell, 95, a resident of Erwin, TN, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, in Unicoi County, TN. Mrs. Blackwell, a native of Vancleave, MS, was a former resident of Gulfport where she was a member of Burton Memorial United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Blackwell, and her parents, Henry and Hester White Hurst.She is survived by a son, Alton Blackwell of Gulfport; a daughter, Edith Jane Schultz of Clearwater, FL; three sisters, Inez Hober, Idelle Cowart, both of Gulfport, and Bessie Miller of Why, AZ; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight, Thursday, at the Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, followed by burial in Allen Cemetery in Long Beach.
