On June 15, 1874, Hanna Nielson married Ola Larson as a plural wife. She was born September 27, 1856, in Gardstanga, Malmo, Sweden, the daughter of Niels and Sissa Parson Nielson. Ola was born October 9, 1839 in Gardstange, Malmo, Sweden, the son of Lars and Kristi Olsson Monson. At an early age, he was sent away to work as a stable boy; and he grew to love horses. Ola was a farmer, and he also freighted salt from Salt Lake to Cache Valley. He is remembered for his fine horses and his black buggy, which was cleaned and polished after each use.
Children of Ola and Hanna Nielson are: Alma (Rachel Ellen Olson, May Baker), Orson (Matilda Jenson) and Hannah Amanda (died in infancy).
