The Daily Notes, Canonsburg PA, Tuesday 03 December 1918, front page - ISAAC L. BOYCE DIES AT BRIDGEVILLE --- ISAAC L. BOYCE died Sunday night at his home at Bridgeville after a brief illness of influenza, complicated with asthma. He was the son of the late CAPTAIN WILLIAM BOYCE of Boyce Station, and spent the greater part of his life there. For several years past he had made his home at Bridgeville. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, one son, ROSS BOYCE; three daughters, MYRTLE BOYCE, MRS. CHARLES G. KIRSCHKE and MRS. LEROY ALLISON. WILLIAM J. BOYCE of this place, is a brother. Funeral services were held from his late home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock the interment was in Peters Creek Cemetery*. (*There are no gravestones for either Isaac or Sarah at Peters Creek Cemetery, aka Brush Run.)
