Know ye, That Amaziah Mitchell a private of Captain Charles W. Greene's Company, (E,) 27th Regiment of Ohio Infantry VOLUNTEERS who was enrolled on the twentieth day of July one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve three years or during the war, is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the United States, this 17th day of August, 1864, at Chattanooga, Tenn. by reason of expiration of term of service.
(No objection to his being re=enlisted is known to exist.*)
Said Amaziah Mitchell was born in _ in the state of Ohio, is twenty-four years of age, five feet ten inches high, dark complexion, hazel eyes, black hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Furnaceman.
Given at Chattanooga this eighteenth day of August 1864.
