Mrs. Bishop, 15, was accidently shot Tuesday. She was born Sept. 22, 1961 in Brawley, California. She attended Stanfield Elementary School for eight years, where she was active in sports.
This year Mrs. Bishop would have been a junior at Casa Grande Union High School. She was a member of the girls choir. She was active in Stanfield 4-H Club and GA Club of the Stanfield Baptist Church.
She and her husband had been married 11 days at the time of her death.
Besides her widower, Terry; Mrs. Bishop is survived by her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Trantham, of Stanfield; two brothers: Alvin L. and Michael D.; four sisters: Brenda Whitehead and Sandra Morrow, both of Casa Grande, Shelia Sneed and Sue Trantham, both of Stanfield; her grandmother, Mrs. Vera Webster, of Durant, OK; grandfather, Robert Harris, of Stanfield; and great-grandmother, Etta Harris, of McKinney, TX.
Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
