She was a retired educator with the St. Lucie County School Board. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie. She was a former member of the Charmettes.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Dawson of Port St. Lucie; sons, Robert Dawson II of Miami, Michael J. Dawson of Stuart and Carl F. Dawson of Goodyear, AZ; daughter, Kaleema Abdurrahman of Alpharetta, GA; brothers, Robert A. Wallace of Gary and Richard W. Wallace of Silver Spring, MD; sister, Janet M. Henley of Gary; and four grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. July 10 at Stone Brothers Funeral Home. The funeral will be at noon July 11 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
