Lawrence Ellis Holt Sr., 71, Orleans, formerly of Shoals, died at 10:59 a.m. Wednesday April 15, 2009 at Bloomington Hospital.
He was a truck driver for Kern Trucking and Shelby Trucking.
Survivors include his wife, Clara (Weishelt) Holt, Orleans; two daughters, Laurina Holt Sanders and Tammy Holloway, both of Orleans; three sons, Lawrence E. Holt Jr., Shoals, Norman Holt, Loogootee, and Karlie Holt, Orleans; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby "Sue" Campbell, Shoals; three brothers, Bernard Eugene "Corky" Holt and James D. "Teddy" Holt, both of Shoals, and Robert Dale Holt, Bedford; and two half brothers, Ray Combs, Shoals, and David Combs, Norfolk, Va.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Queen-Lee Funeral Home in Shoals. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
