LUCY PARALEE CAYLOR ADKINS, age 93, passed away Friday, march 5, 1999 in Eastpointe, Michigan.
She was born in Flats, North Carolina on November 8, 1905, the daughter of Alfred and Alice Deweese Caylor. Both parents preceded her in death.
On May 17, 1927, she married Thomas Adkins in Brieville, Tennessee. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by 7 children Wendell Larry Adkins of Crittenden, Kentucky; Huey Boyce Adkins of Eastpointe, Michigan; Tommie Blaine Adkins of Daytona Beach, Florida; Barbara Sue Cunningham and Margarett Jean Carmony, both of Eastpointe, Michigan;
Alice Faye Mrrow of Clarksville, Tennessee and William Alfred Adkins of Paris, entucky; 18 randchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; and everal nieces, ephews and cousins.
Preceding her in death are two children Merle Wayne Adkins and Catherine Ann Adkins; 2 brothers Ralph and Don Caylor 2 grandchildren; and a great grandson.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 13, 1999 at 1 P.M. at the Elk SpringValley Baptist Church in MonticelloKentucky, with Brother C. E. Dick and Brother
Robert Jones officiating. Burial was in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
