J.H Becker, Jr. (Hans) the oldest son of John and Anna Becker, joined his father in the mercantile business. He was an ardent supporter of good roads in New Mexico. He attend the Lutheran Church where he was a long time Sunday School teacher of a men's class. In 1905, he was married to Stella Smith. They had one son, John Melvin Becker.
