COLVILLE, WASH.

Rosary for Barbara A. (Schweigert) Marx, 94, will be at 7 p.m. today at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Colville. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Graveside service will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Colville. Danekas Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Marx, who was born near Odessa, Russia, died Monday.

Her family immigrated to the United States when she was 3 years old and settled in North Dakota. They later homesteaded in Saskatchewan before moving to Oregon.

In 1926, she married Joseph Marx in Kelso, Wash.

They moved to a farm in Rice, Wash., in 1942 and moved to Colville in 1972.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Quillisascut Grange for more than 50 years.

Her husband died in 1991.

Survivors include a daughter, four sons, a brother, Peter Schweigert, and a sister, 16 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
