Ocala - Miles Herman Nolte, 85, of Ocala, FL passed away at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala on July 8. 2009. Mr. Nolte was the son of Miles H. Nolte and Bessie Belle (Davis) Nolte of Macon, GA. Mr. Nolte graduated from Yale University in 1949 and joined Alcoa Aluminum Manufacturing Company. Mr. Nolte was retired as Alcoa Corporation Manager, with 33 years of service. He served as Past President for Buckeye Molding Division. After retirement, Miles moved to Ocala in 1996 from Clearwater, FL. He was a member of Countryside Methodist Church in Clearwater and a volunteer for Interfaith. He is a Veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict serving in the United States Navy. Miles is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Marie Nolte of Ocala; daughter Susan M. McDonald and husband Ed of Charlestown. IN: sons Richard Nolte of Los Angeles, CA and Paul Nolte of Okemos, MI; daughter Nancy Findley of Grayson, GA; grandson Evan Findley of Grayson, GA and granddaughter Allison Findley of Grayson, GA; sister Nina Sullivan of Palm Harbor, FL.
