Donna J. Rightsell, 77, of Michigan City, died Tuesday, July 7 at her home in Michigan City.
Services will be held Friday, July 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Carlisle Funeral Home, with Larry Sadenwater officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.
Mrs. Rightsell was born May 7, 1932 in Michigan City to Gene and Velma (Wilson) Dolezal, both of whom preceded her in death.
On Oct. 11, 1972, in Michigan City, she married Jack Rightsell, who survives in Michigan City.
Also surviving are her children, Bruce Long of Michigan City; Jamie (Charlie) Lawrence of South Bend, Jessica L. Rightsell, Missouri, Bill (Bonnie) Rightsell of Valparaiso, Jackie (Mike) Hanna of Lafayette, Ind., Glenn (Gigi) Rightsell of Linden, Ind., Jim Rightsell of North Carolina, Larry (Bee Bee) Rightsell, Knoxville, Tenn., Sue (Steve) Jordan and Cathy Collins, both of North Carolina; 23 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, sisters, Sue (Frank) Dabbert of Michigan City and Judy (Dave) Bowker of Brownsburg, Ind., and special friend Sara White.
Mrs. Rightsell had been a homemaker.
