Aaron was the oldest son of Moses Casner and Alice Anna Meade Casner. Moses and Alice had five children - two sons and three daughters. Alice left Moses and took the three daughters with her to CA. The two sons remained with Moses and worked on his ranch on Beaver Creek, Yavapai Co., AZ.

Aaron joined the Army during WW I and was in the Army when he died. According to the funeral card, he died at Camp Dix, Trenton, New Jersey. His body was shipped to his sister who lived in Yankee Hill, California. His mother, after leaving Moses Casner, was living common law with Ransom R. Clark, a KonCow Indian Activist in Butte County, CA.
