Funeral services for Maggie Anders Skinner, 79, of Ackerman, were held August 5, 2003 at Ackerman Baptist Church with Rev. David Shivers and Rev. George Buel officiating and interment in Enon Cemetery.
Mrs. Skinner died August 3, 2003 at her Residence in Ackerman from complications of lung cancer. She was owner/operator of Skinner's Shoe Store in Ackerman and a member of Ackerman Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Ralph Skinner of Ackerman Dan Skinner of Nashville, TN; two daughters, Danelle Saxton of Starkville, Shelia Lance of Ackerman; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
