DAVENPORT — Barbara J. McCoy, 66, died at her home in Davenport, Sunday, July 5, 2009. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 10, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Living Water Church at 4706 Northwest Blvd in Davenport.

Burial will be at St Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove, Iowa, prior to her service. The Runge Mortuary assisted her family.

Barbara was born October 13, 1942, in Iowa City, the daughter of Joseph and Harriett (Springsteen) Heck. She was formerly married to Don McCoy of Davenport. She retired from Eagles Warehouse.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Don (Debbie) McCoy, Olathe, Kan., and Trish (Allen) Ferrel, Davenport; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and mother, Harriett Moomey, sister, Joyce Stedman, and a half brother, Joe Heck, all of Davenport.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
