She was married to Mr. E. C. Tague, June 22, 1860. To this union were born 13 children, six boys and seven girls. Seven have preceded their mother to the great beyond. All of those died in infancy except Mrs. John Miller, who died about 17 years ago. Tague, Rockwell City; E. C. Tague, Stepik, Mont.; Frank Tague, Ruskin, Neb.; Roy Tague, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and A. N. Tague, Harlan.

Parker at that time was pastor of the First Baptist Church in Harlan, held a meeting in the Miles school house and a Baptist church was organized. She was one of the charter members of the Bowman's Grove Baptist church and was faithful to all its services and kept her membership there until she moved to Harlan about nine years ago. She then transfered her membership to the First Baptist Church.
Mr. E. C. Tague died May 27, 1912. Nov. 30, 1912 she was united in marriage to Mr. S. F. Kohl which union proved to be a very amiable and mutual blessing.
Mrs. Kohl was a woman whom every one admired and held in the highest esteem. She was true to her religious conviction and lived the Christian life the best she could. Not one was permitted to suffer if in her power to relieve it.

(*gravestone indicates "PHEBE" was born in 1847 "aged 69Y, 8M., 6D.")
(also, this obit says 6 children survive, but lists 7 ??)
