Jay H. Freeman, 82, of Natural Dam died Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2006, at a local hospital. He was a farmer, member of Grandview Assembly of God and a former school board member of Cedarville. The lifelong resident of Crawford County was preceded in death by three sisters, four brothers and a son-in-law. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three daughters, Sharon Taylor and her husband, Billy, and Janis Stewart, all of Natural Dam, and Terri Brown and her husband, Paul of Cedarville; two sons, Mitch Freeman and his wife, Theresa of Mulberry and Jack Quinn and his wife, Mary of Onalaska, Wash.; two brothers, George Freeman of Cove City and Junior Freeman of Cedarville; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Grandview Assembly of God in Natural Dam with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren. Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons, Brad Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Chris Stewart, Kevin Hightower, Allen Snowden, Steve Golden, Brandon Taylor, Blake Pool and Cooper Snowden. Honorary pallbearers were Grandview Assembly of God church family.
