Louis T. Metz Dies at Age 76

Louis T. Metz, 76, of 1255 Perry, retired Kansas Gas & Electric Co. employe, died Thursday.

He was born Sept. 26, 1887, in Sharon, Kan. He came to Wichita in 1912 from Alva, Okla. He married Zaida Bainum June 29, 1919, in Wichita. Mr. Metz was a member of First Methodist Church and its Harvester Class, Wichita Masonic Lodge No. 99, past commander of Knights Templar and a veteran of World War I.

Survivors include his widow; a son, M. L., 2404 S. Handley; a daughter, Mrs. Louis J. Stout, Ann Arbor, Mich.; two brothers, Otis, North Ridge, Calif., and Herbert, Lakewood, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home has charge.
