He formerly worked for the former Navy Ships Parts Control Center, Hampden Twp., and Drive Core of Mechanicsburg. He was a member of the Carlisle Fish and Game Association.
Surviving are his wife, Anna W. Zeigler; a daughter, Betty J. Sponsler of Mechanicsburg; a brother, Dale E. of Mechanicsburg; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Myers Funeral Home, Mechanicsburg. Burial will be in Longsdorf Cemetery, Silver Spring Twp.
