EAST LIVERPOOL - Joseph R. Albaneso Jr., 57, of East Liverpool, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at home following a lengthy illness.
He was born Nov. 8, 1951, in East Liverpool, the son of Joseph R. Albaneso Sr. of Wellsville and the late Marie (Freeman) Albaneso.
Joe attended East Liverpool High School and was a truck driver for 25 years at several area trucking companies before retiring in 1985. He was a member of the Munsee Delaware Nation USA as well as the Turtle Clan where his Native name was Rising Turtle.
Survivors include three daughters: Brandie Taylor and her husband Jeff of Salineville, Mandie Albaneso and her companion Reed Nutter of Lima, Ohio, Shannon Bates and her companion Tony Barnes of East Liverpool; one son: Shane Albaneso of Bentelyville, Pa.; one sister: Margueriteia A. Albaneso and her companion David Adkins Jr. of East Liverpool; one brother: David M. Albaneso and his wife Debbie of East Liverpool. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, at the First Christian Church of Wellsville with the Rev. Troy Warner officiating.
Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 8, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St., Wellsville.
