Dallas G. Leach, 67, a resident of Wellston Rt. 2 died at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Holzer hospital where he had been a patient for ten days following a heart attack.
He was a retired B&O machinist and farmer, a past trustee of Washington township and a past school board member of Washington Township. He was a member of the Nazarene church.
Surviving are his wife, Sarah Gusta, and the following children: Franklin, Robert, Clarence, Mona Mae, Dallas Jr., Virgilene Patrick, all of Wellston, Mrs. Helen Louise Salts of Dundas, Dewey Eugene of Columbus; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren; one sister, Cornie Goodrich of Mingo Junction; and one brother, Kelly Leach of Wellston Rt. 2. Two sons preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Wellston Nazarene church with Rev. Vernon Shaffer officiating. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery. --- Wellston Telegram ---
