Pierz – Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Harding, for Mrs. Mary Pilarski, 84, who died Monday at St. Mary's Villa. The Rev. Leo Otto will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 today at the Brenny Funeral Home in Pierz. Parish prayers will be at 8:30 tonight at the funeral home followed by the Knights of Columbus saying the Office of the Dead at 9:15.
Mrs. Pilarski was born Oct. 24, 1892, in Minneapolis to the late Mr. and Mrs. Roch Maleski. She moved to the Harding area as a young girl where she married Math Pilarski. The couple farmed in Pulaski Township until retiring.
Survivors include sons and daughters, Frank, Minneapolis; Mrs. Lucille Piasecki, Harding; Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Christenson, Little Falls; brother and sisters, Frank and Mrs. Sara Young, Harding; Mrs. Edna Lucking and Mrs. Elizabeth Ludwig, California; Theresa, Duluth; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1972 and one daughter.
