GEORGE L. BARNES
George L. Barnes, 72, of New England road, Mifflin township, died last night at 10:40 o'clock at his home following a lingering illness. He was born in Camden and had been a resident of this district all his life. He was a member of Success lodge No. 275, Knights of Pythias of McKeesport.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Robinson-Barnes, he is survived by three sons and three daughters, John Barnes at home, George Barnes of New England and Alex Barnes, Mrs. Ella Childers, Mrs. Mabel Sutton and Mrs. Mary Hairl, all of McKeesport; by 15 grandchildren; also by two brothers, Matthew Barnes of New England and William J. Barnes of Ogden, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at his late home Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock with interment at Lebanon cemetery.
