Funeral services for Lester R. Grose, 60, of 604 Swing Ave., and formerly of McComb, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Jack Corn officiating. Burial will be in McComb Union Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Grose died at 4 p.m. Saturday in his home.
He was born May 18, 1924, in Putnam County to Russell and Hazel (Bond) Grose. He married Virginia Norway on Sept. 26, 1946, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Terry of McComb; Randy of Findlay; a daughter Debra Grose, McComb, a grandchild; three step grandchildren; a brother, David of Findlay; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Ward, Findlay.
Mr. Grose was an insurance agent for Western and Southern Life Insurance Co. for 25 years, and was a former co-owner of Snack-N-Dough, McComb. He was a World War II veteran and a member of McComb Mulford-Butler American Legion Post 511.
Memorials may be made to the McComb Rescue Squad.
