Gordon Lee Ross, age 72, of Jones, Oklahoma was born on February 17, 1932 to Denver Franklin Ross and Iola Wheatley Ross in Martha, OK and passed from this life on June 28, 2004. Mr. Ross lived in and around the Midwest City area since 1960 and retired from the State of Oklahoma after a long career in law enforcement. Gordon loved to spend time with family and friends singing, and playing his guitar during their jam sessions. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Cubs fan, supporting them win or lose. Gordon is survived by his loving wife Jo; sons, Stephen & wife Kim of MWC, Ronald of the home, Gregory and wife Kim of MWC; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Chelsea, Lindsea, Dale, J.T., and Brady; and 3 great grandchildren; brother and sister in law J.C. and Marie Ruttman; special friends, "singing buddy" Dan Anthony, Jewell and Richard McKlin. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Barnes and Johnson Chapel.
