Mr. Robert Howard (Bob) Harper, age 84 of Union City died August 30, 2001. Mr. Harper was retired from the Atlanta Police Department after 31 years of service and was a member of the Union City Masonic Lodge #600 for over 50 years and also a Shriner. He is survived by his fiance, Mary Lou Smith, Griffin; sister, Mrs. Perry Edith Parrott, Tyler, TX; brother, Mr. Rufus Harper, Union City. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 2, 2001 at 2 o'clock at the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Rev. Terry Arp and Rev. Bobby Parrott officiating. Interment Holly Hill.
