A native of Bennington, Neb., Mrs. Konkright had lived in Clark County since 1966, most recently in Vancouver. She formerly had lived in Miles City, Mont. Mrs. Konkright and her late husband, Floyd J., owned thoroughbred race horses, including Kitsap Kid, a horse that holds the record for the 1 3/16-mile race at Portland Meadows. The record was set in April 1968. She also played piano for barn dances in the Miles City area before her retirement.
Mrs. Konkright is survived by three sons; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
