Last Rites Tuesday For John Callahan
John W. Callahan, 89, Somerville Route 2, Passed away Monday at the residence of a daughter in Decatur.
Funeral services were conducted at Fairfield Church Tuesday by Rev. W. O. Norton and interment followed in the Red Hill cemetery, directed by Peck.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. W. R. Bates, Hartselle 3; Mrs. Claudie Boger, Hartselle 2; Mrs. Robert Sandlin, Decatur; and Mrs. Chester Dobbins, Danville 2; four sons, A. C. Callahan, Danville 2; J. C., Emmett and Paul Callahan, all of Moulton 2; three sisters, Mrs. Moore Owens, Danville 2; Mrs. Sam Hamilton, Danville 3 and Mrs. W. E. Rhodes of Hartselle.
Mr. Callahan was a member of the Church of Christ.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
