West Salem, Wisconsin-------Theodore J. Kneifl, 85, of West Salem, died Thursday, June 9, in his home.

He was born October 31, 1902, in St. Joseph Ridge, to Thomas and Mary (Palmer) Kneifl.

He married Gertrude M. Hansen, May 28, 1929, in St. Joseph Ridge, and they farmed the family farm near there. In 1965, they moved to West Salem, where he did custodial work at St. Leo's Catholic Church for many years.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Darlene Hammes of Milwaukee and Denise Makinson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, six sons, Donald of Oregon, Wisconsin, Eugene of Green Bay, Gerald and James both of St. Joseph Ridge, Daniel of Mesa, Arizona, and Duane of West Salem, 21 grandchildren, two great-granchildren, and one sister, Mildred Kreibich of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Leo's Catholic Church the Rev. B. T. Kelly officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Ridge Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary to be said at 8 p.m. and at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday.
