William David Kayton, 67, a resident of Chehalis, WA,died Tuesday, May 28 in a Tacoma hospital. He was born March 9, 1918 in Lyons, Nebraska, to William Edwin and Amy May Carr Kayton. He was a retired brick layer.
He was married to Irene Anderson on August 16, 1938, and to this union four children were born, namely Karmen, Karl, Edwin and Verna May, all of whom survive him. He is survived by his second wife, Josephine; two sons, Karl of Milwaukie, Oregon, and Edwin of Hawaii; two daughters, Karmen Dutt of Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Verna Keoho of Hawaii; four stepdaughters, two stepsons; a sister, Ruth Hanson of Gordon, Nebraska; two brothers, Earl and Billie Kayton of Gordon, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
