Effingham County Minutes Book #4, p. 46, cited in "The Heidt Family; A Salzburger Family", p. 25, by Evelyn B. Hendricks, shows that Charles I. Hinely, Tabitha's husband, applied for and was granted administration of Christian Israel Heidt, Jr.'s estate on Nov. 10, 1851 after he died. Christian, Jr's only son Solomon had died eight years earlier, and typically if there was not a son to handle the estate of a father when he died, it would fall to the eldest daughter's husband. Since Tabitha was the second born daughter, this would indicate the girl 1 of Christian, Jr. died sometime before Christian, Jr. did.
