He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Leger Alsip; his son, Marvin Alsip, Hazard; three grandchildren; his father, Howard Alsip, Corbin; his brother, Melvin Alsip, Imperial, Calif.; his sister, Mrs. Dessie Monhollen, Corbin, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services ere conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Corbin Baptist Church by the Rev. Therman Taylor and the Rev. W.F. Roaden. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery at the Hart Funeral Home.
Pallbearers ere Herbert Early, Bud Smith, Russell Logan, Rex Mobley, Carl LeForce and Elijah parks.
Honorary pallbearers were the Men's Adult Bible Class of the Corinth Baptist Church.
