Betty Jean Cosby Crogan
WATER VALLEY-- Betty Jean Cosby Crogan, 78, formerly of Batesville died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi.

She was born in Batesville to the late Johnnie Davidson Cosby and Minnie Lois Sturgis Cosby. She was an accounting for Clerk for Trailways for many years. She was a member of the Sylva Rena Baptist Church in Water Valley.

Services will be held in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2 p.m. today with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery. Seven Oaks Funeral Home has charge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Joseph Crogan and one son, Michael Patrick Crogan, her sister, Ouida Cosby Lawhorn and her brother, James Edwin Cosby.


Survivors include: her daughter-in-law, Teresa Crogan Eakin with husband Vince Eakin of Water Valley.
