He was the son of Charles Alexander and Betty Parker Arnold. He grew up and attended schools in California where he was a resident for 27 years. His parents then moved to McAlester where he joined them. He attended Kiamichi Technology Center and later Eastern Oklahoma State College at Wilburton. He was a member of the Emanuel Baptist Church in Ridgecrest, Calif. Survivors include his mother, Betty Arnold, of Kiowa; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Mariko Arnold, of Reno, Nev., and a nephew, Alex Arnold, of Reno, Nev. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles "A.C." Arnold. Pallbearers include Danny Drake, Jerry Johnston, Lee Sartor, Richard Choate, Leon McClendon and Herb "Buzz" Henry. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kiowa First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Piearcy officiating. Burial will be at Kiowa Cemetery, Kiowa, under direction of Bishop Funeral Service.
